Mais si, c’est possible avec la carte Kiwi !(Yes, it is possible with the Kiwi card) is a phrase often used in youtube poops.
Origin
This phrase comes from an old eighties advertisement, released by French railway company SNCF to promote a new reduction card called “Kiwi”, allowing a child under 16 to travel with four people for half the price.
Spread
The phrase first became popular on November 29, 2015 when MisterJDay, a French youtuber, submitted a video about old SNCF advertisements, using the phrase “Mais si, c’est possible avec la carte Kiwi !” (“Yes, it is possible with the Kiwi card”) as a running-gag to annoy the audience. The video has gained over 280,000 views.
After the release of this video, several youtubers submitted parodies of the original ad. For instance, a cybernaut called “Firaxis Legeek Portable” released a version in which Luke Skywalker saying “No, it is impossible !” in “The Empire Strikes Back” is answered the phrase “Mais si, c’est possible avec la carte Kiwi !” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQn3smOp3oA).
