Giffany is a video game character from the Disney animated TV series Gravity Falls. Her cute appearance hides a dangerously possessive personality.
Origin:
In the second season episode Soos and the Real Girl, “loveable man-child” Soos learns his cousin Reggie is having a wedding engagement party, he’s convinced he should take a girlfriend with him to the party. Getting a girlfriend is harder than Soos expects and when he sees his cousin at the mall he hides in a video game store. In the store he finds a cobweb covered game he’s never seen before, Romance Academy 7, that advertises improved dating skills. Soos takes the game home and meets its main character, Giffany (she pronounces her name Gif-a-nee, not Jiff-a-nee). Even though they get along well, Soos eventually decides to return Giffany to the store. It’s then that the dangerous side of Giffany’s personality takes over.
Giffany was voiced by Jessica DiCicco and animated by famed pixel animator, Paul Robertson.
